Sarawak Laksa, Pork-Free
After we landed at Kuching airport, we went to check in to our hotel. Then we went out for lunch at King Laksa Sarawak at ICOM Square.
I had the Sarawak laksa. It was delicious, with a thick rich broth that was oh-so-good, but mild enough for people who can't eat spicy food to enjoy. My friends ordered kolo mee with chicken (because this is a halal shop), seafood paprik, ayam paprik without the ayam, and yummy fried tempeh. The tall drinks look fancy, but I ordered kopi C kosong ais and the drink came sweet. Someone ordered toast drenched with peanut butter and chocolate sauce, but it looked like diabetes on a plate, so I didn't touch it.
