Fritters, Street Food, Pork-Free
I went to the stalls in SEA Park one late afternoon around 3pm looking for fried nian gao. Unfortunately the lady said one guy came and bought 20 pieces. So sudah habis. I bought 1 piece pisang goreng, 1 sweet potato and 1 yam. The Pisang Goreng was a whole banana and it was sweet and sour. Usually sellers would slice the bananas in half, so I liked this one and the sweet and sour taste. Sweet potato was nice. I found the yam quite tasteless. They were still a bit crispy even though I ate them much later. So I would buy the banana and sweet potato again. Hopefully next time I can get the fried nian gao. The lady was very friendly.
