Char Kuey Teow, Street Food
After driving around, I randomly picked this stall to settle dinner. I ordered the char kway teow and added a sunshine fried egg for only RM8.50, which is quite affordable.
Flavor-wise, it was just ordinary; it lacked a bit of wok hei and aroma, but it was perfectly fine for filling the stomach.
The kway teow soup ordered by my colleague was actually a pleasant surprise compared to the char kway teow, with a clear, sweet, and smooth broth.
We also ordered roasted chicken wings, which leaned toward a sweet honey sauce style. The taste was alright, making them perfect to nibble on while chatting.
Sometimes when traveling out of town for work, dinner is just settled simply like this. Finding a hot meal is already very satisfying.
