Restaurant Seong Teck Mui Char Kuey Teow
Char Kuey Teow, Street Food, Non-Halal
- Under RM20 per pax
Chiefeater Chee Leong had his try stash of fried pork lard to add to the Char Kuey Teow he ordered at Restaurant Seong Teck Mui
Buffet, Pork-Free
The spread at Lemon Garden Cafe at Shangri-la Hotel still tops many other buffets. Food wise it's becoming kinda hefty with price tag of RM258 per pax for weekends. The pizza was a disappointment today. It used to be good. Other food variety was good. And yes, there are oysters, prawns, crabs and lobsters. There is some "sweetness in the crabs but the "mini lobsters' were tasteless. Plenty of fresh oysters too.
There are tons of variety of food for you to choose from. Plenty of choices from Chinese, Japanese, Western, Indian and local food. My favorite includes double-boiled soup which I can't seem to get enough.
The dessert selection was also good. I like their moist chocolate cake. The Mango ice cream is also one of my favourite as it's a unique flavour. Hospitality at its best. Clearing of plates is also very efficient! You will get to enjoy a 10% discount at Lemon Garden Cafe if you are a Golden circle member. Also score some discounts (from 20%-30%) if you book via the Eat it Go app.
