Tan Heng Restaurant Dinner

Chiefeater Jotaro Zen was in Kepong for BKT but routed to Tan Heng Restaurant instead for lovely dinner

Hokkien, Non-Halal
Sin Lean Heang is a popular traditional hokkien chu char eatery with a big crowd. Food is fresh, well cooked & very delicious. Can be quite a trying experience having to wait an hour or so for food to be served. Just a normal coffee shop setting with ceiling fans.
One and only hokkien food that worth for the waits. One of the most popular hidden spots in Penang. Only the locals will be able to bring you here for oyster noodles, fried oysters, bak khnee th'ng (pork soup) and so many other great dishes here.
The staples are all cooked to perfection. Prices are pretty reasonable.
Pro tip: Don't ever order a small plate of fried oysters. Make it a size larger because I'll bet you my bottom dollar it won't be enough!
1. Oyster Noodles - RM15.00

2. Fried Oysters - RM18.00

3. Taukua Fried with Leeks - RM14.00

4. Bak Khnee Th'ng - RM19.00
