Sin Yuan Kee Chicken Rice stall, hidden under the big tree, is loved by everyone who has tasted her glass char siew and crispy roasted pork. Each slice is cut to the thickness of a mahjong tile, so I gave it a name, calling it “Mahjong Glass Char Siew” and “Mahjong Crispy Roasted Pork.” Don’t you think it resembles mahjong tiles?

Apart from the chicken rice, I absolutely love their Curry Mee. The curry broth is rich and authentic. Take a look at the this photo to get a sense of its flavor.

The portion of char siew, roasted pork, and curry noodles is only RM10, and it also includes pork skin, clams, and tofu puffs.

It’s such a great deal and so satisfying! You can also enjoy some homestyle Hakka side dishes here, like “cai wei” (pickled and spicy mustard greens) and braised chicken feet, which have a nostalgic taste.

And don’t forget to try their Cham iced coffee and iced coffee – they are really delicious. I always make sure to pack some for takeaway after a satisfying meal.
