In search of an air-conditioned restaurant, we stumbled upon Soul Kitchen, only to discover it is a vegetarian establishment. Despite my early disappointment, we decided to stay and explore their menu.
Jen ordered the Assam Laksa, and it turned out to be quite impressive. The broth had an authentic taste, which was remarkable given the absence of fish. Instead, the dish featured a generous serving of noodles, vegetables, and pineapples. The flavours were well-balanced, capturing the essence of traditional Assam Laksa.
Overall, Soul Kitchen delivered a satisfying meal, proving that vegetarian cuisine can hold its own in terms of flavour and authenticity. If you’re in the mood for a vegetarian experience, you can check out Soul Kitchen Puchong Jaya.
