Prawn Mee, Street Food, Non-Halal
imagine knowing about this hokkien mee at Star Hotel Coffee Shop for years already. where so many raved how good it is but only this morning i went to try first time. well… er… ok lah, it was good but still i wouldn’t say it is one of the best as i have try a few others better than this.
i took the big bowl (RM6.00) and add extra prawns, add RM1.00. there are also other extras to add like pork ribs and intestines. actually although being big, the serving looks small. er… or don’t tell me the lady heard me wrong and gave me small. well she hard my order wrong.
i asked for no taugeh (bean sprouts) but they gave me taugeh. *sigh* sambal too… asked for a lot but not a lot, not spicy at all. seems like they (a couple and it was the lady who took the order and serve diners) were too busy so the lady didn’t hear me properly.

this is how they show the price displayed there which is from the normal standard Hokkien Mee.

front of their stall – looks so plain. no pictures, no words, you wouldn’t have known it is hokkien mee unless approach the stall. See less

there! the corner coffee shop in full view. i have put a red arrow to show the HM stall. See less
