Chiefeater Kane Chong explored Bistro Monologue in Bukit Puchong for dinner, music, and a surprisingly solid night out

Loh Mee, Street Food, Non-Halal

I had local food in Alor Setar on my way to Penang.
I like to eat food from hawker stalls, so I think the food at Sudut Selera Tanjung Chali is worth a try.
I ordered the most popular Loh Mee in the food court, which was really delicious (the only stall that required a long queue and you had to pick your own noodles).
The 70-year-old fried mandarin duck has a wok smell but it’s just ok.
The fried oyster omelette is good. The coriander combination given by the boss really made me happy.
Alor Setar’s famous wonton noodles, lobak, and slow-fried cakes are also famous here. Some stalls still depend on luck to get to eat.
This time I was lucky to try what I wanted to eat.
I’m happy that all the stalls are run by Chinese owners, and there is no foreign worker.
I feel happy just watching and eating.
