Durian party at Suling Hill, (Bukit Langkap) , Kubang Semang, (near Bukit Mertajam) Penang. Our group from PJ/KL and Melaka has been making their pilgrimage to Mr Ong's (Ah Chye) Suling Hill Farm every year.

Unfortunately, the black thorn was not up to the mark. Ah Chye decided not to sell his black thorn when we were there. To make up for the disappointment, the red prawn was superb. The green skin was quite good too as well as the musang king.

From our experience, the best black thorn that we had was during the 2023 season.
We look forward to better black thorn quality in 2026.
