So here comes the million dollar question. Out of all the food I ate in London, which one was the best? Surprisingly it was fine dining Chinese food at Hutong. Hutong is an award-winning Chinese restaurant in London featuring fiery Northern cuisine and breathtaking skyline views from Level 33 of The Shard, the tallest building in London.
Everything from their Peking duck to their Sichuan style deep fried lobster to their champagne shrimp dumplings were to die for! I could not stop eating their pan seared ginger lobster baos, who knew baos could taste this good?
The decor was elegant with old world Chinese opulence. Coupled with the sweeping views of London below, this restaurant scores full marks on food, decor and ambience. I would definitely come back again!
