Thai Nyonya, Fusion, Pork-Free
Post by Chiefeater Gary Chin
Supa Tai Quayside Mall offers a promising addition to the local dining scene around this area. As someone who enjoys Thai food, I was pleased to discover Supa Tai which serves a fusion of Thai and Nyonya cuisine and decided to give it a try.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by its spacious and inviting ambiance. The modern yet comfortable decor, combined with ample seating, provided a welcoming atmosphere for diners. I appreciated the attention to creating a pleasant environment. The view overlooking the park is another bonus.
Moving on to the culinary offerings, the menu at Supa Tai with its blend of Thai and Nyonya cuisines made for interesting choices. I opted for green curry, fried fish, calamari, and a satay to get a taste of different flavors.
The green curry was rich and aromatic, with a perfect balance of spiciness and creaminess. The tender slices of chicken and vibrant vegetables soaked up the flavorful curry sauce, making each spoonful a delight for the taste buds. It was evident that the curry was prepared with care and authentic Thai ingredients.
The fried fish was a highlight of the meal, showcasing expert cooking techniques. The fish was impeccably crispy on the outside yet tender and flaky on the inside, served with a tangy sauce that complemented its flavors beautifully.
The calamari with glass noodles, another seafood offering, was tender and well-seasoned. The spices used brought out the natural sweetness of the calamari without overpowering its delicate taste. Combined with the glass noodles, it was a refreshing addition to the meal.
Lastly, the satay were a savory treat. The meat was perfectly grilled, offering a smoky flavor that paired well with the accompanying dipping sauce. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, making it a must-try for meat lovers.
Overall, my dining experience at Supa Tai was enjoyable and satisfying. The quality of the food, coupled with the welcoming ambiance and attentive service, left a positive impression. I would recommend Supa Thai to anyone looking to explore authentic Thai cuisine in a spacious and comfortable setting. With its diverse menu and well-executed dishes, Supa Thai is a welcome addition to Quayside Mall and a promising choice for Thai food enthusiasts.
