Ramen
Takagi Ramen Woodlands has a simple, no-frills setup. Nothing fancy, just a cozy and casual spot that focuses on food. Staff were friendly and genuine, though the tables could be a bit cleaner.
I tried the original tonkotsu ramen, and for the price, it was hearty and comforting. The portion was generous, and the variety on the menu (like black garlic and spicy versions) was a nice surprise. That said, the broth wasn’t super rich or hot enough for my liking, and the flavor of the chashu and egg could be better. Consistency seems to vary too.
Still, Takagi stands out for being affordable and filling. If you’re not expecting perfection and just want a fuss-free ramen meal, this is a solid choice. Perfect for casual nights or late cravings! Just come for comfort, not complexity.
