Chiefeater VK's dinner at Sae Ma Eul BBQ Puchong revealed that the Japchae was the winner and not the BBQ

Hot Dog
I recently visited the newly opened Coach Coffee Shop at Sunway Pyramid, which is the brand’s first commercial mall-based outlet in Malaysia. Drenched in signature Americana charm with its eye-catching yellow facade, the cafe offers a New York-inspired menu just steps away from the Coach retail boutique.

Coffee was passable and it won’t be the draw for me.

The Beef Hotdog was a highlight of the meal. It featured a high-quality sausage and a well-textured bun, providing a very satisfying eat. While the overall combination was very good, I would have personally preferred a bit more mustard to heighten the flavours.

I also sampled the ginger soft-serve ice cream, which was excellent. It had a dense, creamy texture and maintained a balanced level of sweetness that didn’t overpower the ginger notes.

Latte – RM18.00
Beef Hotdog – RM24.00
MVX Summary
Score: 7.7 / 10
M – Meal Value The pricing is at a premium, as expected for a designer-branded boutique cafe. At RM24.00 for a hotdog, it is a significant step up from standard mall fare, but the quality of the ingredients in both the hotdog and the specialty ginger ice cream justifies the cost for a luxury lifestyle experience.
Score: 7.2/10
V – Venue & Vibes The venue is the defining feature of the experience. Located on the Ground Floor at Oasis Boulevard, the 715-square-foot space accommodates 26 guests in a stylish, vibrant yellow environment that perfectly blends fashion culture with a New York deli aesthetic.
Score: 8.5/10
X – X-Factor The true X-factor is the “designer coffee” atmosphere combined with high-quality, NY-inspired snacks like the beef hotdog and unique soft-serve flavours. It provides a prestigious and highly “Instagrammable” backdrop that sets it apart from typical mall coffee chains.
Score: 8.0/10
