We were back at Sri Petaling for more exploration. This time our lunch destination was The Hungry Lab. Our culinary exploration unfolded with Jen opting for the Luncheon Meat with Pork Lard rice (RM19.80+). A visually appealing dish, the luncheon meat was skillfully cut into delectable rectangles, boasting a crispy exterior and a firm bite. The rice absorbed the flavoursome essence of pork oil, and the addition of lard croutons elevated the dish to a flavour symphony.
The Sanchoku Wagyu Beef Burger (RM39.80+), a visually enticing creation, showcased a well-seared beef patty. Regrettably, the overwhelming presence of sauces diminished the essence of the patty, and the choice of a fluffy bread failed to contain the burger effectively.
Service at The Hungry Lab was good, with an attentive staff contributing to the overall positive dining experience. The ambiance exuded a comfortable vibe, enhancing our visit to this establishment.
