Finally I’m here again at The North Cafe, after my first experience their Lemon Buttercream Dacquoise. Keep thinking of coming again. As you all know I can’t eat too much desserts. Need to control.
But when I step into the cafe I lose control.
I know I can’t eat sweet, so I ordered chocolate drink without sugar (RM14). I’m a good boy. Then………..
1) Hojicha Dacquoise RM9
The hojicha flavour so soothing and comfortable. 4 stars.

2)Passionfruit Oolong Dacquoise RM10
Love the texture. You even can bite the seed of passionfruit. Is so refreshing. 4 stars.

3) Black Sesame Crumbs Dacquoise RM9
This is nice but lack of the bitterness of the black sesame . It will be perfect if the bitterness was there. 3 stars.

4) Lemon Buttercream Dacquoise RM11
Still my favourite. The difference texture and flavourful taste makes its the winner . The texture so interesting because of the lemon peel and the taste so colourful. A bit bitter because of the lemon peel again. Sweet, sour and creamy. 5 stars

All the Dacquoise I eat it with two mouthfuls and eat it in sequence no 1 to no 4 based on the taste. Enjoy it very very much.
Dacquoise. It is a cake -like almond meringue cookie filled with buttercream. The North Cafe Dacquoise tastes airy, that embraces the almond flavour in your first bites. Each buttercream is infused with rich flavours and some even contains a delicious filling in the centre.
