BBQ Pork, Street Food, Non-Halal
The founder of Chan Meng Kee, Chan Yoke Pui, has opened up his own food stall called Ah Pei Char Siu in PJ Damansara Jaya. For PJ folks living around the SS2 area, they would be familiar with Chan Meng Kee.
The classic way to enjoy the char siew is with wantan mee. Here, the egg noodles are slick with a thicker dark brown sauce. The springy noodles are great paired with the luscious, thick cut char siew. I found the wantan mee to be a little sweet. But the char siew is good at 7/10 from the master roaster.

I ordered other stuff from the kopitiam to try. The duck egg ckt was smokier than usual 6/10

The pork ball noodles was refreshing at 6.5/10

Using lai fun noodle (the one you usually get with assan laksa), the texture is bouncier. The pork ball soup comes with foo chook which I like. Also the soup base is garlicky which is also to my liking. This pork ball noodles shop weighs in at 7/10 as well

Quite a nice find near Atria.
