Chiefeater Kane Chong had Vietnamese food at Jane’s Nem Happy Mansion and found it a happy, lighter-tasting place for a Sunday meet-up

Nasi Lemak
Ordered delivery from Together Nasi Lemak at Medan Selera Everyday Foodcourt, Puchong via food delivery.
Went for their Pork Berempah (RM18.90) paired with fragrant nasi lemak and added on Taiwan Sausage (RM7.80).
This was excellent — easily one of the best non-halal nasi lemaks I’ve had in Puchong. The nasi lemak itself was beautifully fragrant, with distinct coconut richness and fluffy texture. The pork berempah was crispy on the outside, tender within, and richly seasoned with aromatic spices that clung to every bite. The sambal leaned savoury rather than sweet, complementing the rice perfectly.
The Taiwan sausage added a mildly sweet, smoky note that rounded off the meal nicely. Even through delivery, the dish arrived warm, the rice aromatic, and the pork still carried a satisfying crunch.
Pork Berempah – RM18.90
Taiwan Sausage – RM7.80
Nasi Lemak kosong – RM1.00
Score: 9.0/10
M – Meal Value (9.0): Excellent balance of flavour, texture, and portion size for under RM20.
V – Vibe & Venue (8.5): Delivered from a food court outlet, but packed neatly and stayed warm.
X – X-Factor (9.5): Non-halal nasi lemak done exceptionally right — the pork berempah steals the show.
