Fried Chicken, Pork-Free
My Klang friend Mei Lee told me there was a new fried chicken restaurant in Setia Alam with gooey molten cheese in the chicken called ToJoy Cheesy Chicken & Tea. Since I was in the Setia Alam area, I decided to go there for dinner.

I got the signature ebi-cheesy crispy chicken, seasoned with pepper salt and additional mildly spicy seasoning. It was freshly fried, came hot and crispy, with tender chicken filled with melted cheese. Definitely a thumbs up from me.

I ordered the fresh orange camellia latte with 25% sugar. It was smooth and refreshing, with the fragrant orange flavour coming through. It complemented the tea very well.

Next, I tried the crispy fried fresh milk. It came pipping hot with a crunchy exterior and a pudding-like jiggly interior. The milk was not too sweet. I found it to be quite delightful.

The interior is beautifully decorated in shades of pink, lavender and brown, nice soothing earth tones to relax in. It is obvious that a great deal of thought went into the decorations and avid social media enthusiasts will be happy to know that it is very “Instagrammable”.
