Hono Omakase is Theatrical
Japanese, Omakase
Chiefeater Luke Soon considers Hono Omakase one of the most theatrical omakase experiences in Singapore

Western, Steak, Pork-Free
I am always drawn to restaurants that are owned and operated by the same Chef/Owner because I find there is a level of attention to detail and pride which is always expected. Helmed by Chef/Owner John Chan, Tomahawk Contemporary Steakhouse is a steak specialty restaurant that claims to offer Singapore’s largest variety of wagyu tomahawk steaks (hence the restaurant’s name) and an extensive range of prime steak cuts.
Probably serving one of the best pieces of meat anywhere in Singapore.
The tomahawk was good for 3 to 4 pax easily (2kg slab of 6/7 marbling!)

The tomahawk was easily a 7.5/10, the entire experience was good. The server carved up choice cuts deftly, even heating up the knife in the process. The salt was ground from a Himalayan block right before our eyes.

I’ve been to Tomahawk Contemporary Steakhouse many times before and it’s streets above the other steakhouses in the CBD area.
