Bakchor Mee, Non-Halal
Took me 75 min to walk over here and another 15 min queue to get hold of this popular bakchor mee at Tom’s Cityzoom Mee Pok Tar. Look at the extra pork cracklings I got upon request. After this I am walking over to queue for the famous Heavens appam.
Bak Chor is a variant of Mee Pok served with minced pork mee. It is also a closely related dish to Hakka Mee, with the difference being the seasons. Bak Chor Mee uses a vinegar sauce as the base compared to Hakka Mee which uses a fish sauce as the base.
