After the closures of Wah Sang our favourite place for Roast Duck in Butterworth, we had been hunting for a replacement and after a year we finally found ia worthy replacement at Tuck Ji Restaurant located along Jln Kampong Paya.
Tuck Ji Restoran has a (Non Aircon) hybrid set up. One within the Shop, the other is under the shed just right Infront. As a Restaurant they have the Chu cha items, set rice items, and most importantly the Roast meat section with some chap fan items for vege, curry, and other items.
We have been here twice, and their Roast Duck is the best we had this past year. We also tried out some of their other dish which meet with our expectations.
They open early for breakfast, and till early dinner, which makes it suitable for us late lunches. We will be back for more.
