Urban Daybreak Bangsar had recently introduced their new menu and I thought I would give it a try. After all, the last time I had been here was years ago. A revisit was warranted. Urban Daybreak Bangsar is one of those places that opens early. They open at 7:30 am, so it’s a a place where you can actually have breakfast.
I had a mushroom and egg and a side order of a spicy sausage. The mushroom and egg was good. The seasoning was good though I would have liked my scrambled eggs to be fluffier.

What I really liked was the spicy sausage. It’s their own interpretation of what a sausage should be. First, it does not have a skin. And it’s square. It looked like a huge luncheon meat when it arrived. But if you get past the look and sink your teeth into it, you will be rewarded with a flavourful tasting piece of diced meat.

Jen ordered a sausage muffin. This is Urban Daybreak’s version of the sausage McMuffin. While the sausage was good, she felt the muffin was too hard on the outside and the inside, not fluffy enough. One thing we both agreed was that the dishes do not lack seasoning. Only that the textures might not have been fully to our liking.
