35 Cafe Char Koay Teow
Char Kuey Teow, Street Food
- Under RM20 per pax
Chiefeater Russ King Karl had the Char Koay Teow at 35 Cafe in Fettes Park which now has a new owner and new stalls

Indonesian, Pork-Free
While our hotel room came with breakfast, Jen and I decided to skip the hotel buffet and went for a street-side option instead at Warisan Bakso Nusantara.

They had a spread of dishes laid out like a buffet, and we picked out a mix that came up to RM15.

The standout for me was the chicken gizzard. It was surprisingly tender, not chewy in the slightest, which made it all the more enjoyable.

RM15 for this plate. There was something comforting about eating by the roadside, with the simple flavours and warm dishes making it feel a lot more satisfying than the usual hotel fare.
