Chee Cheong Fun, Street Food, Pork-Free
This small tricycle stall, Yan Foo Chee Cheong Fun, stationed in front of a coffee shop is well-known for its old taste (kochabi) chee cheong fun in Penang. It has been operating at this same spot since 1979. The current proprietor, Ah Tatt, took over the business from his father who has retired. He runs the stall with the help of his elderly mother.

Their chee cheong fun comes with a special home-blended dark sweet sauce (thi chio), prawn paste (heh ko), chili sauce, oil and roasted sesame seeds sprinkled on top.

Among their customers are famous Hong Kong celebrity chefs Martin Yan and Hugo Man-To Leung and TVB actress Aimee Chan. A plate of two rolls of chee cheong fun costs RM3.00 only. It is truly good and tasty traditional food at a very low price.

Opening Hours : 7.30 am - 1.00 pm
Closed : Monday
A good old-taste (kochabi) chee cheong fun.
