Lunch at San Ren Xing

Roast Duck, Non-Halal
We are on our food walk again this morning and came upon Yee Keng Café & Restaurant. This little stall selling roast duck here is indeed one of Penang’s gem. By 8:45 am all are finished. He only roast from 10 to 15 birds per day that is also depending on whether he is able to select juicy good ducks from the market.
It is so juicy and fat oil are dripping out. So flavourful. For sure we will sapu and bring back to KL. Only RM48 per bird. Starts from 7 am and no fix off days. If cannot get the ducks he wanted, he will not open. We had half a duck between the 2 of us.

Yee Ken Cafe is also famous for other dishes which have been reviewed by Chiefeaters Jaimy Yee and Hedges Liang.
