Hakka Mee, Non-Halal
Breakfast at Yitcha Kawkaw Kopitiam Puchong. Jen went for the Hakka Mee with Hakka Fried Pork (RM12.90) and liked it quite a bit, especially because the sauce had a sweetish tone that worked for her. The fried pork, though, didn’t leave much of an impression. Crispy, yes, but nothing to really shout about.

I had the Nasi Lemak (RM15.90), which also came with the same fried pork. The sambal was alright, nothing too spicy, and the peanuts were decent. But here’s the thing‚ where’s the ikan bilis? A nasi lemak without those crunchy, salty anchovies just feels incomplete.
