Prawn Mee, Pork-Free
Sometimes the best finds come from the most unexpected places, and YOLO Coffee in Seremban certainly delivered with its stir-fried Har Mee. This isn’t your typical prawn noodle dish—it’s a creative take, with stir-frying adding depth to the flavour and elevating it into something truly memorable.

The noodles had an excellent al-dente bite, holding their texture perfectly even as they absorbed the rich prawn essence that permeated the dish. The taste of traditional prawn mee was beautifully preserved, with all the savoury and umami notes you’d expect from a well-crafted broth, albeit in a dry, stir-fried form.

However, the real stars of the plate were the shrimps — plump, sweet, and succulent. It’s not a common thing to find seafood this fresh and well-prepared in a café setting, and it added an unexpected touch of finesse to the meal.

At RM26.90 per plate, it’s not the cheapest option of Har Mee you will find, but the quality and execution justifies the price. While I have had this dish before elsewhere, the Har Mee at YOLO Coffee is one of the better ones I have had.
