Nanyang Style
I, wife and MIL had a meal at Zao Cha Cafe in Taman Daya, JB. It is a quiet spot with a small crowd. The interior is cosy with pleasing decor and spacious, making it a great and peaceful place to relax.
We had iced Zao Cha tea, hot Zao Cha tea, kaya toast, lala noodle soup, and the 5 Seafood Treasure Wat Tan Hor. The iced Zao Cha tea had a pleasant, fragrant taste, while the lala noodle soup, with a touch of wine added, was delicious.
I could only spot chopped fish cake, prawns and lala in the Wat Tan Hor, which made me wonder why it was called “5 Seafood Treasure.” 😄 Anyway, the dish was not bad. The total bill is RM55.55.
Overall, a nice place for a quiet and relaxing meal.
