Went to hunt/search a well known local HKM, 菊花园福建面, in Bukit Mertajam. Finally got it. It is of old taste, simple and nostalgic taste. Didn’t want to have any add ons (the additional add on definitely enhance eating flavors but mar the enjoyment of original flavor. After all I go for the mee as it basic served, NOT the pork ribs, intestines….)
