"Chu Char" (cooked to serve) food at Hai Bee Restaurant. this restaurant seems to be quite popular. usually when visiting it, quite crowded. yesterday i was there with family - 7 adults, 3 children. these are the dishes (we order. sorry as i was not the one who picked the dishes, i have no idea of the names, and for some, i just take a guess of the names, based on the menu. you can see the menu posted with prices. generally, can say all the food all were good.
it's pork dish but don't know what. perhaps pork knuckles. nice but don't really like it as so hard to take out the meat
fish nice but again, usually fish at chu char restaurant not enough to share among all at the table. i mean each get to taste only very little.
tomyam prawns. this one i order since they all know i love prawns let me choose. but when i choose tomyam prawns, i thought it is fried prawns with tomyam. didn't realise it comes with tomyam soup... don't really like this style. however, thank god, the tomyam soul and prawns were good.
fried salted egg mantis prawns. delicious. crispy and with enough salted egg taste... not too much or too little. some restaurant's fried salted egg mantis prawns are not as nice as this.
seaweed soup. quite nice. lots of stuff inside... including small prawns.
salted fish fried with bean sprout. i like this very much. so tasty
minced pork tofu. like this too. delicious.
good combination of tofu and minced pork - both of which are my favourites.
fried egg with bitter melon
not bad. egg kind of different from other style of eat i have tried
