today for my lunch, decided to try again one of the restaurant that has the USA potatoes fiesta contest - this time at SmokePapa BBQ.
i order the 𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗨𝗦 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀. RM15.00. we are always accustomed to french fries especially from macD and KFC but this is so different and unique - not only USA fries but with pork too. it was quite good. it used pork shoulder with nao cheese, smoked BBQ sauce and pickled onion (though i spy the onion very few).
i also order the 𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗳 𝗿𝗮𝗴𝘂 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 (using penne pasta). RM18.00. as the menu stated - 'classic italian ragu with smoke US angus bricket, grana padano parmesan, parsley garnished'. so it has two kind of cheese and parsley for garnishing. it is quite nice. i like the beef more than the pasta. flavourful with the cheese and nicely smoked.
