今天路过Hicom-Glenmarie,就到明记去吃叉烧王,这叉烧外皮烤的很香脆,那半肥瘦的叉烧一入口咬下去就爆香,烤的功夫非常了得。见到每桌食客都点干捞云吞面,我也来上一碟中份叉烧王云吞面,切成厚厚的叉烧王,2粒炸云吞,2粒水云吞,1粒半很弹牙的面条和水烫菜心。。满口古早的味道,超喜欢!
I had heard that the renowned old establishment Restoran Meng Kee Char Siew, which used to be located in KL, is now in Shah Alam. Today, while passing by Hicom-Glenmarie, I decided to visit Meng Kee and try their famous Char Siew. The crispy outer layer of the Char Siew was fragrant and crunchy, and the combination of lean and fatty meat burst with flavour as soon as I took a bite. The roasting technique was truly remarkable. I noticed that every table was ordering the Dry Wantan Mee, so I also ordered a medium-sized portion of Char Siew Wantan Mee. It came with thick slices of Char Siew, 2 pieces of fried wontons.
