Pork Noodles, Street Food, Non-Halal
I had read about Candy Wong’s post about this auntie selling noodle soup at Restoran King Huat, Puchong Indah so I decided to check it out. I discovered the shop was only an 8-min drive from my home, so I went on Sunday.
I ordered the pork noodles (RM7) and it came with generous portions of kuay teow, meat and toppings. Taste also quite good. Boleh come back again. After I ate halfway, auntie came to sit at my table.
“You know Candy Wong ah?” she asked. I looked around – it seems the shop patrons were mostly senior citizens, hence the question.
I said she recommended your stall lah, so I live nearby and decided to come to makan.
She said last time got more customers, so she will sell until 3-4 pm, then pack up and go home. But now, she can pack up after 1-2 pm, because not many people eating. Auntie said economy no good, must be people eating more at home.
She wakes up daily around 3+am then leaves her house around 5+am to come to the shop to set up her stall. Life is hard for auntie. Hope her business increases back like the former good times again.
Note: Closed on Monday. She sells bittergourd noodles and seafood noodles too. Seafood noodles got add alcohol one, she said. She made the belacan dip herself – tastes sedap.
