Entering Blind Pig is like stepping into a secret world. The dimly lit ambiance, the hushed tones of patrons and soft jazz music set the stage for an evening filled with mystery and allure. Seated by the bar, I was greeted by Mica, the enthusiastic mixologist at Blind Pig. With a cheerful demeanour, she set the tone for a delightful evening. Her concoction, the “Smokey Bastard,” immediately caught my attention. The cocktail is made from Ardbeg 10 year old Islay Scotch, Cigar Infused Maple Syrup, Peychaud’s Bitters, and Orange Smoke.

The subtle smokiness of the whiskey intertwined with other carefully selected ingredients, creating a harmonious blend that danced on the palate.
