Esquire Kitchen Sunway Pyramid Stir Fried Eggplant
Cantonese
- RM20 - RM50 per pax
Chiefeater Paula Tan had stir fried eggplant at Esquire Kitchen Sunway Pyramid and found the food excellent with generous portions

Porridge, Non-Halal
In Hokkien, when you hear someone said, so and so invites you to eat Bak Moey (pork porridge) or Meh Moey (night porridge), it means so and so has kicked the bucket and this dish is usually served to the visitors who came to pay respect to the deceased.
In this case, this Bak Moey stall at Perak Lane, located at the junction of Perak Lane and Jalan Jelutong, is not for the faint hearted as you have to wait up to 30 mins (if you are lucky). I read in some articles saying some waited in excess of 1.5 hours!
Is the wait worthwhile? For me, i think it is. A bowl of piping hot goodness with fresh ingredients, cooked over charcoal fire with cute CPU fans. Not much funfare here. Porridge with marinated minced pork, livers, kidney and pork meat balls. No garlic oil here, just sprinkle with some chopped spring onions. There have beehoon, flat noodles too if porridge is not to your liking. Simple food, happy life.
You can park at space behind Perak Lane Fish Head Bee Hoon. Though here they also have porridge, mostly seafood based. RM2 for parking. Or you can park opposite near Vista Nasi Kandar and walk across the road.
