Chiefeater Connie TSS tried the Qingyuan chicken pot at A Zhao Chicken Pot and especially liked the smoky chicken feet and gentle ginger dip

Western, Pork-Free
I was walking (yes, walking) around Bandar Puteri one day and chanced upon MEO Plus Cafe. Jen had the Rosemary Roasted Chicken Leg with Creamy Mushroom (RM25.90+) while I had the Grilled Chicken Chop with Mushroom Sauce (RM25.90+) While they generally did both dishes well enough, there were some minuses. I generally found the meat in both dishes to have a tinge of sweetness. It’s like that they added a smidgen of sugar to it. While Jen found the Rosemary Chicken was juicy and properly roasted, my Grilled Chicken was a bit charred.

The wedges that came with our dishes were too salty, Both mushroom sauces, on the other hand, were just perfect. Perhaps the way to eat at MEO Plus Cafe is that we should eat the chicken properly covered with their respective sauces together with the wedges to get the correct flavour.
The service level at MEO Plus Cafe was however, top notch. Their wait staff was attentive and courteous. Since they are still new, the kitchen might have still been working out issues and they warrant a revisit in the future.
The ++ is for the 10% service charge
