Pork Chop, Non-Halal
Feeling like a pork chop, I decided to order food delivery from Breworks Puchong since their offering was the most affordable at RM19.90. What arrived was a pleasant surprise.
This piece of meat was one of the more enjoyable pork chops I've had in a while. The meat had a firm texture, giving a satisfying bite. It wasn’t what you'd call premium, but it certainly tasted good enough to make me appreciate the choice.
Before sauce
After topping it with the black pepper sauce. The sauce is the peppery and savoury type.
I also decided to order a pork lo bak for RM11.90, intending to save it for dinner. Lo bak is a dish made by marinating pork in a blend of five-spice powder, soy sauce, and other seasonings, is then wrapped in a beancurd skin before being deep-fried to a golden crisp. This version was savoury and firm and was a fair sized portion, delivering just the kind of satisfying snack I was hoping for.
All in all, Breworks Puchong turned out some good items that I’d gladly have again. The price via delivery is about 25% more expensive than in-store price.
