Chiefeater David Quah rates Haru Korean Restaurant quite highly on their food, service and atmosphere

Chinese, Non-Halal
Yan Wo Seafood Section 17 presents an array of dishes designed to satisfy communal dining enthusiasts. This visit highlighted a few gems on the menu, with the glass noodles in broth standing out as the true star of the afternoon. We actually talked our way to get the air-con section all to ourselves.

Claypot Glass Noodles with Prawns (RM45)
The glass noodles paired with the seafood broth are a testament to the restaurant’s skill in creating soulful dishes. The broth, brimming with the sweetness of fresh prawns and the savoury depth of seafood stock, was both aromatic and comforting. The noodles themselves were perfectly cooked—soft yet retaining a pleasant chew, soaking up the broth beautifully. This dish exuded warmth and flavour, making it the highlight of the meal and a must-order for anyone dining here.

Guinness Pork Ribs in Yam Basket (RM58)
The yam basket was another commendable dish, offering a harmonious mix of textures and flavours. The exterior was crisp, while the yam itself was creamy and smooth, pairing well with the savoury Guinness glazed meat nestled inside. Satisfying execution.

The Two Style Kai Lan (RM26) was a decent dish with stir fried and fried greens.

The butter sauce in Squid in Butter Sauce (RM30) was OK. The squid, however, was too chewy to be properly enjoyed.

Yan Wo Seafood Section 17 is a decent option for Chinese dining. Our bill for all the dishes and a pot of tea for 3 pax came up to RM174.
They have a private room that can take 20 pax. A minimum spend of RM1,000 is required.
