If craving for Bak Kut Teh and you are far from Klang (the hometown of Bak Kut Teh), next best thing is head over to the nearest Bak Kut Teh shop. For us at Muze at Bayan Baru, the nearest is Yi Pin Xiang Bak Kut Teh Bayan Baru at d'Piazza Mall.
We ordered 1 yam rice to share among 3 of us and assorted parts of pork: tendon, tail, stomach, pork leg, ankle and large dish of steamed vege. Rice was fragrant and appetising. Meat was succulent and cooked right with bouncy cuts of fat, muscle and lean proportions. All good except the tendon which was disappointing - not the jugular thumb-sized thick tendon but pinky puny softie tendon. The soup is a flavourful strong good herbal brew which was satisfying and made up for the let-down.
