A food delivery experience from Lei Lou Mei brought mixed feelings. I ordered the pork knuckle and spicy pork belly, both of which were undeniably tasty. The pork knuckle boasted tender, succulent meat with a satisfyingly rich, savoury flavour, while the spicy pork belly delivered a fiery kick and a pleasant balance of spice and fat.

However, the portion sizes left much to be desired. For RM44, the servings felt meagre, leaving me less than satisfied despite the quality of the dishes. While the taste impressed, the value did not. The picture below is both items inside a single bowl.

If Lei Lou Mei can improve on its portions, it has the potential to be a go-to spot for comforting, flavourful pork dishes. As it stands, though, it’s hard to justify the price.
