Ah Huat Pek Sar Hor Fun
Cantonese Fried, Street Food

Chiefeater Tai Kwee Fatt had the Keropok Sar Hor Fun at Ah Huat Pek operating at the Balik Kampung Cafe Balik Pulau

Omakase, Fine Dining, Non-Halal
Just when I thought the wunderkid at Sushi Nakamura had plateaued, then he mic dropped again with a super fish soup with hamaguri clams. The fish used was a sea bream. Might be me - but seafood soups done the Japanese style are so refined! I was blown away. This dish alone was 7.5/10

I was worried - worried for nothing. Chef Kazu has made the transition to a full Omakase chef.

The years tasting his almost ‘alternative” Japanese food - I was worried it wouldn’t translate to an Omakase delight. I almost (almost) wanted to help him with his menu and pricing. But it’s all good now, just barely a month after the grand opening - he’s soaring. The sky’s the limit. Well done.
