Chiefeater VK had a serendipitous find when he ordered a meal from Nanyang Sand Ginger Steam Chicken via food delivery

Cantonese Fried, Street Food, Non-Halal
Me and my better half visited Heritage Bamboo Noodles at Taman Setia Indah, JB for its “wat tan hor”. We were told this Cantonese fried noodle is the best in the area.

We ordered a 2 pax serving for 22 rgt and waited 30 mins for the food to be served. The fried kueh teow comes flooded with gravy. The fried noodle has this “wok hei” aroma but was in clumps. Taste wise, it’s quite good. The portion was too small for both of us and we had to “ta pau” a big pack of “wantan” mee to bring back home.

The total bill is RM42 which is inclusive of 2 drinks. I still miss the “wat tan hor” at Soo Kee (Jalan Silang, KL and shifted later to Imbi). Soo Kee is now, operating at the food court in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang. The stall is run by my cousin’s sister.
