We chanced upon Le Marche after a whole day of marauding at TRX. We were even luckier to bump into Vincent, the maitre’d/sommelier on site. Some pretty understated Crianza and Riojas but Vincent helped us pick out a nice Brunello. But that’s not all, we could choose our choice cuts/meats and have the kitchen prepare it for us.

We had octopus tentacles with rosemary and garlic, which was a 6/10.

The pork chop was 6.5/10 – freshly pan seared albeit a little overdone.

The carbonara was 6/10 (no picture)

The seafood aglio oglio was also 6.5/10

They’ve quite impressive selection of Spanish and Italian wines, for those interested.

Total 6/10 overall for me. Maybe bcos of the wine.
