Sandwich, Non-Halal
Tonight wanted to try something new. Something that I have never tried before. So I decided to walk around Chulia Street tembak tembak. Found one, Tease & Toss. The menu attracted me. Russian Borsht, coconut pumpkin soup etc. Interesting.
Order one soup and one sandwich.
1) Russian Borsht – RM18
Nice delicious soup . the soup was so light and fragrance. Later found out 11 vegetables as the soup base. Ingredients got red meat(pork), beetroot, cabbage, carrot and potatoes. Is a traditional Russian soup. Love it very much.

2) Monte Cristo – RM28
Ingredients: pork, bacon, egg and cheese.
Looks so beautiful. It attracts me immediately when it served. All the flavour so interesting. Enjoyed it very much.

This cafe only 6 months old and the owner was a Dr who studied in Russia . Most of the dish in the menu which introduced by him are from Russia, German, England and some are inspire by him. Interesting cafe. And most importantly the food are cooked by order. Even soup.

Russian Borscht is a traditional beet soup that is popular in many Eastern European and Russian cuisines. It is a hearty and flavorful soup that is typically made with beets, cabbage, potatoes, carrots, onions, and sometimes meat such as beef or pork. The ingredients are slowly cooked together to create a rich, savory broth that is infused with the earthy sweetness of the beets.
It is a delightful and complex soup that is full of rich, bold flavors. The deep, rich red color of the soup is visually striking and sets the stage for the taste experience to come. The sweetness of the beets is balanced by the tanginess of the cabbage and the savory notes of the meat, creating a flavor profile that is both comforting and satisfying.
The texture of the soup is also noteworthy, with the soft, tender vegetables contrasting with the chewy, meaty bits. The addition of sour cream or yogurt on top of the soup adds a creamy, tangy element that enhances the overall flavor and texture of the dish.
