Da Fu Di Steamed Patin

Cantonese, Steamed Fish

Description

Post by Chiefeater VK

Dinner at Da Fu Di with several friends was defined by a high standard of presentation and service. We opted for the Divine Prosper Feast for 6 pax, and the staff were exceptionally attentive to our dietary needs, specifically ensuring that all items were either changed or served separately for one of our guests who could not consume almonds or nuts. They also thoughtfully arranged for us to have our Lou Sang last because one of the dining party was late.

Divine Triple Gems

Double Almond Pork Ribs Soup With Cactus Flower, Figs & Abalone

Prosperity Delights – Braised Shajing Oysters with Black Moss, Broccoli & Mushrooms

Hong Kong Style Preserved Meat Claypot Indica Rice

The best item of the night was the Hong Kong Style Steamed Wild Patin Fish. It was perfectly executed and stood out among the others.

While the Golden Crispy Chicken with Organic Flax Seed was tasty, we found it to be a bit dry; however, it was saved by the excellent chili sauce served alongside it.

The restaurant provides a great atmosphere for group dining, and for those seeking more exclusivity, they offer private rooms** with a minimum spend of RM2000++

The X-factor is the exceptional service and dietary flexibility. The staff’s proactive management of a nut allergy without compromising the flow or quality of a set feast demonstrates a level of professionalism that distinguishes Da Fu Di from many other high-end Cantonese establishments.
