Chiefeater David Quah rates Haru Korean Restaurant quite highly on their food, service and atmosphere

Tai Chow, Street Food
Was available yesterday afternoon and gathered a few friends to take a drive to Aik Khoon Restaurant at Ulu Yam. After a 50 minute drive, we had a nice parking in front of the restaurant. By 11.30 am, the lunch was filled and all tables were taken up.

The Ulu Yam Loh Mee did not disappoint at all. It had the signature taste, vinegary and absolutely delicious.

The Guinness Stout Fried Chicken was heavenly, sweet and really good.

The authentic braised Pork Leg with nuts was cooked to perfection with both texture and taste to perfection.

The Coconut Prawn which was cooked with tom yam as put into the coconut was delightful and aromatic. The coconut water added a sweet taste to the dish.

The other two dishes of Sweet Potato Leaves fried with chilies and steamed fish with “chai poh” was so so for me …but they were flavorful.

Yummy Food, good service and ample parking space. Price was reasonable and quality was way above average.
