Tai Chow
On invitation from a friend, decided to drive to Kuala Selangor for lunch. Was a smooth one hour drive to the Want To Eat Restaurant. It opened at 12 noon and within 20 minutes, all the tables were taken up.

We ordered the Claypot Chicken, Salted Egg Pumpkin, Salted Egg Mantis Prawns, Chili Small Prawns, Fish with Salted Vegetable soup & Mamee Sauce Pork Ribs. Three plates of rice and Chinese Tea for the 6 of us.
The chicken cooked in claypot with thick gravy was aromatic and nicely done.

The pork ribs were tender and practically melted in your mouth.

The salted egg pumpkin was crispy and was not oily.

The salted egg mantis prawn was equally well prepared and not too salty.

The fish in soup was a delight too. Soup was well balance between saltiness and spiciness. The fish together with the yam and salted vegetable were superbly blended to stretch our taste buds.

The chili small prawns were really great. had a nice zing to it.

Want To Eat Restaurant offers a wide range of local Malaysian dishes and the dishes we had were all flavorful and delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Restaurant was cleaned and spacious and very casual atmosphere. Overall we paid RM161.00 for all the dishes.
Will surely return to try their signature seafood dish of crabs, clams, fish, prawns, sea cucumber and lobster.
