Restoran Foong Yean was our family favourite when we first moved to Bayan Baru more than 40 years ago. So it is very nostalgic for me to bring my elderly dad here for Sunday lunch, when he used to be the one to pay for our meals. The dishes are good, just as I remember them to be. The quality and quantity slightly adjusted to maintain the affordability of the dishes in terms of pricing. Overall, we are so satisfied with the food and the attentive service. Truly delightful to see my dad enjoying his favourite dishes. The decor and staff have not changed - thank God for the survival and sustainability of this restaurant. May they continue to flourish and serve more good meals in the years to come.
