First time at 3 Cafe Prangin Mall. heard about this cafe from a friend, so decided to go try it. as it was my first time there, at first i thought the cafe is so small, with only 4 dining tables (at the counter side) but later i notice opposite it, in an enclosed area, there are dining areas too.
when i walked in, i notice QR code menu on the tables but i walked straight to the counter to order via a staff tehre. told ya' many times, i don't like to order via QR code.
ordered the tomyam fried noodle and as i was eating i remember people saying this cafe is famous for its 'chung ling scrambled egg' so i decided to order it. the friendly lady at the counter said "the dish has 4 eggs, can you finish it... a lot, you know. i'll make 2 eggs for you only, ok."" how nice of her. if order from the menu, standard is consists of 4 eggs but she knowing i'm alone and had already ordered the fried noodle, let me have 2 eggs instead.
this lady, maybe the boss, was very friendly indeed. when i wanted to go back, say thank you and bye bye to me. even earlier another staff who took my order was friendly.
with friendly staff, it s will make me want to return... especially when i notice they have set rice with prawns.
very few restaurants serve set rice with prawns.... mostly with chicken.
tomyam fried noodles. RM10.00
quite yummy as it was a bit spicy, though can't really taste much the tomyam
famous chung ling scrambled egg. RM3.00
actual dish is RM6.00 with 4 eggs but this has 2 eggs specially for me, so RM3.00.
delicious indeed. hardly taste this type of scrambled egg. once i try it at the no. 5 char koay teow stall (at macalister rd) but it is nowhere like this. that one more of omelette type - in one piece. this one is scrambled and cut into pieces. i believe if i'm not wrong, chung ling egg uses chilly and fish sauce, that's why you see it a bit red. however it is not spicy at all.
